    I went into Target this evening (8pm, Baseline Rd in Phoenix). Paid by Discover (over $50) and offered my driver's license as proof of identity. The register person simply said "Oh, I don't need to see that".

    Wonderful. Flash the plastic, no ID, certainly looks like Target has learned its lesson....
