It's no secret that Intel (INTC 1.77%) has struggled mightily to gain real traction in both the smartphone and tablet markets which, unfortunately for Intel, are two large markets for computing. While the company has done a ton of work in porting over Google's (GOOGL -1.97%) popular Android operating system to its processor architectures, and while it has done an admirable job in providing software tools and support to Android developers, one piece of the puzzle is still missing: ubiquitous hardware.

The implications of Intel potentially winning this key design at Google could be enormous. Join Eric Bleeker and Ashraf Eassa as they dig deeper into just why Intel needs such a visible Android win and how this could shape Intel's long-term mobile strategy.
