Printing Food Is Actually a Serious 3-D Application

By this point, every serious technology investor is already familiar with the concept of 3-D printing -- but have you ever heard of a machine that lets you take a bite out of your own face?

From traditional applications offered by companies like Stratasys (NASDAQ: SSYS  ) and ExOne (NASDAQ: XONE  ) to experimental printers that can produce a chocolate bar in your likeness, this month's South by Southwest Interactive technology conference was thick with 3-D buzz.

Check in with Foolish analysts Rex Moore and Lyons George as they discuss the state of this groundbreaking technology -- and the ways investors can get in on it right now -- from the floor of the show in Austin.

Here's a bigger trend than 3-D printing
Let's face it, every investor wants to get in on revolutionary ideas before they hit it big. Like buying PC-maker Dell in the late 1980s, before the consumer computing boom. Or purchasing stock in e-commerce pioneer Amazon.com in the late 1990s, when it was nothing more than an upstart online bookstore. The problem is, most investors don't understand the key to investing in hyper-growth markets. The real trick is to find a small-cap "pure-play" and then watch as it grows in EXPLOSIVE lockstep with its industry. Our expert team of equity analysts has identified one stock that's poised to produce rocket-ship returns with the next $14.4 TRILLION industry. This what some people are missing, and some of those people are out and out 'shills' with their own interests; is that 3D products from machine parts to human body parts will improve everyone's lives. Throw in food and anything you can think of will be produced faster, better, and cheaper as the 3D manufactures figure out the best ways to make their systems work to answer the needs of their customers.

Companies with high P/E's is not always a bad sign especially with new systems or tech, and many of these companies are household names today and part of many people's portfolios or mutual funds. If negative people ruled the world, we still would be cooking our food over the campfire, if were allowed to.
