How Intel Could Win the Chip War

It's widely known that Intel (NASDAQ: INTC  ) has the best-in-class chip fabrication technology available on the market today. What investors may not know is that in the coming years, the world may soon begin to realize Intel's technological advantage. When it comes to dominating markets, it doesn't get much better than Intel's position in the PC microprocessor arena. Steve Heller should do a little reading and homework to understand how the "x86 power hungry architecture compares with ARM".

I don't think this is too technical for Steve, but if it is, someone at the Fool can translate for him.

Mr. Heller is remarkably ignorant. The currently available X86 architecture Clover Trail + easily beats any ARM design in performance and power consumption, as proven in independent tests by Anandtech. Even the previous generation Clover Trail did this, and Intel will soon release next generation mobil CPU/GPUs that exceed Clover Trail+ capabilities and power numbers. We're about to cross an inflection point in the mobil CPU marketplace and Intel, with innovation that is generations ahead, will win this market.
