2017 is on track to be a huge year at the box office and will probably set new records for domestic and global ticket sales. With a slew of high-profile franchise releases on deck, Disney (DIS 0.08%) once again looks poised to dominate the box office, but Comcast (CMCSA +1.82%), Time Warner (TWX +0.00%), and Sony (SNE +0.59%) also have films releasing that are likely to wind up on the year's list of 10 highest-grossing films.
