Welcome back to another Foolish review of the hottest stocks as ranked by Motley Fool CAPS. We're looking at the three best-performing industries over the past 30 days, and your favorite long and short candidates in each.

Cash in caching? No longer. This week, health-care information services providers are hotter than a Paris Hilton catchphrase. HLTH (NASDAQ:HLTH) and its peers are, as a group, up 35.6% over the past 30 days.

That may surprise some of you. Motley Fool Stock Advisor pick Quality Systems (NASDAQ:QSII) reported decent earnings, but it's facing increasing skepticism from Wall Street watchers.

The good news? Health-care costs are once again rising in the double digits, according to research from PriceWaterhouseCoopers. I know that looks bad, and it is for consumers. IT specialists, on other hand, aim to create efficiency that lowers administrative costs.

Investors appear to like the idea. No other industry gets close to the 30-day return of the health-care IT sector. Not even coal-bed methane miners, which, like the fertilizer makers, are up 23.6% since late May. (Anyone else smell that?)

According to you, our Foolish readers, the best stocks in these industries to own now -- i.e., those with four or five of the maximum five stars in CAPS -- are:

My favorite among today's contenders is Sociedad Quimica y Minera, otherwise known as Chemical & Mining Co. of Chile. CAPS All-Star m00k3y best explained the thesis just yesterday:

This fertilizer stock still has a lot of potential for growth. Mother nature has hit the farming industry pretty hard in USA, but with worldwide growth in agriculture and the continued needs to try to feed the world and the huge push for ethanol. I think this company will run for quite a while.

Top investors are also after the company's assets. Two of Sociedad Quimica's largest shareholders have been buying in what could be a takeover attempt, Bloomberg reports. Expect the stock to keep moving if the big money keeps investing.

Even without that possibility, I still like Sociedad Quimica as a future monster stock. With a global food shortage and ethanol demand rising, crop yield has become a critical problem that fertilizers can help to solve.

But that's my take. I'm more interested in what you think. Would you buy Sociedad Quimica y Minera at today's prices? Let us know what you think by signing up for CAPS today. It's 100% free to participate.
