After reading recent articles on flotex I about gave up on this co. but seeing the outstanding 5 star support from the Caps Community I'm encouraged and guess I'll hang in there a bit longer and see how it plays out. I'm quite long on ftk and need this co. to come back. Paying attention to the Caps Community ratings has payed off for me in the past. Maybe they will come through for me again.

I know that you all realize that on 11/17/2009, the stock took a big hit with announcement of 3Q 'earnings' and seems stuck. I bought this well under 2.00 and I'm also inclined to hang in, or buy more. Other than dlcapo and myself, does anybody else still support FTK? why?

I'm in FTK fairly heavy. I've been looking for advise for a few weeks now only to be more concerned as time has passed. My buddy sold (loss) but I can't seem too. 3 months ago when it hit $1.38 all I could think was to buy and buy I did and I continued to buy even over 2.00. I'm glad to see a 5 star rating as this gives me some inspiration to hang in for the up swing which I'm expecting very soon. I'm nobody though just heavly in.

I have taken a whipping on this stock but can't bring myself to sell. Good to see 5 stars. Have had other stocks come back so hope this one will also. I always go long, but am perplexed by persistent slide. What gives?

I too have a heavy unrealized % loss with FTK and have flirted with taking another big bite but keep getting scared off.....but think I might jump in soon.

Not sure of the true situation though.

The future of Flotek will depend more on Obama than Flotek management. I'll break it down in simple english. CAP IN TRADE possibilities have companies rethinking the switch to Natural Gas, as their taxable hit would be 10,20, and in some cases up to 50% more than their saving from converting to NG. This "green energy" push is not going to help Flotek, as it is (wrongly) on the wrong side of the political spectrum.

Flotek's technology and supply chain alone is worth $15. per share on a bad day. I'm invested at very low levels, and am NOT looking at Floteks management. I trust in the company and it's vision. I am looking very closely at the political side, which in the end, will be the true measure of Floteks success. If Obama and his crazy "Cap In Trade thing looses support, expect Flotek to be near $10 by the end of 2010.
