    I really don't need to comment on your post... Since you didn't add anything of substance.

    But, I'll do it anyway. Jeremy was promoted to CTO due to really hard work and his understanding of some complex issues facing the technology side of our business.

    I've worked with the writer on the most in depth book on Qualcomm (one of the main companies discussed here), read his book, and read thousands of pages of content on the company and how it developed and thinks about patents.

    I might not be 50, but I've put in a lot of work and earned my stripes.

    What have you done with your life to earn your vaunted position of ignoring anyone under a certain age? Just a question, since you know... You put no analysis in in your comment aside from criticizing age. Maybe you accidentally hit "Post Your Comment" too soon before adding thoughts on the content... After all, you are likely old and don't understand technology. (I kid of course, just using the same logic as your post).
