Why Apple's Huge Success Will Be Its Biggest Challenge

Apple is highlighted in The Motley Fool's new report,"3 Hidden Winners of the iPhone, iPad, and Android Revolution." The report highlights three other companies that are poised to cash in on the booming smartphone and tablet trend in the United States. The guest on this week's nationally syndicated Motley Fool Money radio show is Adam Lashinsky, editor-at-large of Fortune magazine and author of Inside Apple: How America's Most Admired -- and Secretive -- Company Really Works. Companies like Disney struggled in the aftermath of losing its visionary founder. How will Apple fare in the post-Steve Jobs era? In this audio segment, Lashinsky states that on the heels of the greatest 15-year run in the history of public companies, Apple will need to break into a new industry to succeed.

The Steve Jobs Betrayal
You may already know that in the final year of his life, Jobs revealed a stunning betrayal — and told his biographer, "I will spend my last dying breath... and every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank to right this wrong." What was it that made Jobs so irate — and why could it make a few in-the-know investors some major profits over the coming months and years?
