There's never a dull week on Wall Street. Let's go over some of the news that will shape the week to come.
The new trading week kicks off with Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR ) reporting its quarterly results on Monday. Analysts see net income of $0.06 a share, matching its prior-year quarter's profit.
Hecla Mining (NYSE: HL ) puts the pedal to the metal on Tuesday. The silver producer has a pair of operating mines and several more exploration properties. Analysts see a profit of $0.05 a share, though that's far less than the $0.15 it earned a year earlier during the same quarter.
priceline.com (Nasdaq: PCLN ) lands on Wednesday. The "name your own price" portal has been the darling among travel websites in recent years, routinely surpassing Wall Street expectations. However, Priceline also relies on Europe for a good chunk of its business, and the economic situation there is still quite tense.
Roundy's (NYSE: RNDY ) rounds up its latest financials on Thursday. The Midwest grocery-store operator just went public three months ago, but it recently reiterated its intention to begin generating dividends. Roundy's is hoping to pay a quarterly rate of $0.23 a share, giving the stock a generous yield of 7.6%.
Investors will want to check out the report to make sure that it's earning enough to stick to its aggressive payout policy.
The final trading day of the week is usually quiet, but that's certainly not the case during earnings season. The biggest name to watch is NVIDIA (Nasdaq: NVDA ) . The graphics-chip specialist is expected to earn $0.10 a share, less than half of what it served up a year earlier.
