How Should Investors Play Verizon in the Rest of 2012?

Today, editor/analyst Andrew Tonner discusses the second-half outlook for telecommunications giant Verizon. Despite the uncertainty surrounding the global markets, Verizon looks poised to stay ahead of the game. After being one of the Dow's better performers so far this year, the company should also surge after Apple releases its sure-to-be-popular iPhone 5. The strong business model and stability, along with a very impressive 4.5% dividend, make Verizon an attractive stock moving forward.

By riding the trillion-dollar smartphone revolution to great success, Apple has become the most influential company in technology and has delivered market-smashing returns. However, with the iPhone 5 and Apple TV on the horizon, the stakes have never been higher for the company. If you're looking for a recommendation on how to play Apple, along with continuing updates and guidance on the company whenever news breaks, we've created a brand-new report that details when to buy and sell Apple. Sell it.

Verizon and AT&T's aggressive price increases will drive customers into the arms of Sprint and T-Mobile. I just dumped Verizon and signed up for Boost Mobile (owned by Sprint) for a very large monthly savings.
