Back-to-school season is a huge time of year for retailers. But unlike last year, when retailers pushed the tech boom on consumers, this year retailers are setting their sights on value. It will probably be this theme that dominates the retail space for years to come, especially with price transparency. Wal-Mart(WMT 0.83%), Amazon.com(AMZN 1.62%), and Costco (COST 0.47%)are the best brands for investors to hitch onto today.
