The decision follows a review of trial data from the company's independent Data and Safety Monitoring Board, suggesting that initial readings on efficacy are positive. However, the huge positive move comes after an abrupt sell-off in shares during the final hour of Monday's trading, making the stock essentially flat for the past two trading days.
