Wal-Mart Axes Amazon

In today's edition of talkin' stocks, analyst Andrew Tonner takes a look at Wal-mart's (NYSE: WMT  ) decision to no longer carry Amazon's suite of Kindle products. This is just the most recent chapter in the ongoing saga between the two titans of retail. While Wal-Mart currently wears the crown, the steady-as-she-goes growth that investors expect from the company contrast sharply to the high-flying expansion of Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN  ) . Whether you’re looking to own Amazon itself, or own one of the companies its taking sales from, understanding the company and its prospects is essential.
