Amazon's Under Fire From This Retail Giant

In an aggressive move against "showrooming" -- a phenomenon in which consumers test products in-store, only to buy them online -- Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT  ) recently announced that it will cease selling Amazon.com's (NASDAQ: AMZN  ) Kindle tablet line. While this decision won’t do much to affect either company's bottom line, the repercussions over the long term could be huge for retailers -- and investors -- everywhere.
