InterDigital (IDCC 0.80%)is today's biggest winner in tech, up about 5.5%. This bump can be attributed to the company's recent inclusion in the S&P MidCap 400.

On the losing end today was Apple(AAPL -0.35%), which dropped about 1.5% and dragged suppliers down with it. Cirrus Logic(CRUS 1.40%), Avago(AVGO 3.84%), and Skyworks Solutions (SWKS 1.31%)were among those affected.
