5 Tech Stocks on the Move: Apple and Suppliers Drop; InterDigital Soars

InterDigital (NASDAQ: IDCC  ) is today's biggest winner in tech, up about 5.5%. This bump can be attributed to the company's recent inclusion in the S&P MidCap 400.

On the losing end today was Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL  ) , which dropped about 1.5% and dragged suppliers down with it. Cirrus Logic (NASDAQ: CRUS  ) , Avago (NASDAQ: AVGO  ) , and Skyworks Solutions (NASDAQ: SWKS  ) were among those affected.

Watch the following video for Fool.com analyst Eric Bleeker's take on why Apple is suddenly a "loser" (at least for today), and what the ramifications will be for the extended "Apple family" of suppliers. And if you're looking for a recommendation on how to play Apple now that it's the biggest company in the world, Eric has written a brand-new report that details when to buy and sell.
