Can the iPad Mini Stand Up to the Competition?

And if you're Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL  ) , and you have one of the most powerful supply chains of any company in the world, a huge stockpile of components, and such robust in-device stores of media for sale that you can afford to price a great product incredibly aggressively, you have to be asking yourself, "Is there anyone out there who could compete with us, really?" And if you're Apple, you'd better be fully aware that the answer, coming from more and more companies, is a resounding "absolutely." Quite a through review...a real insight. Funny, Amazon can price their product to make a loss on each one because their shareholders obviously don't care if the company makes money or not...hense their share price is sky high despite decreasing earnings whereas Apples' share price drops despite growing their earnings amazingly.

Yep, Amazon stock is wildly overpriced with negative margins on their tablets but Apple stock is way undervalued with their high margin tablets. The iPad mini is much better than the Kindle Fire in all respects except a slightly lower screen resolution which I don't notice.

The iPad mini not only stands up to the competition, it is a blockbuster hit this holiday season and is taking market share away from the small Android tablets.

Amazon's sales have probably slowed too as they now charge sales tax for online orders and no longer have that tax advantage over other retailers.
