The Growing Opportunity in Online Retail

The following video is from Friday's Motley Fool Money roundtable discussion with host Chris Hill and analysts Joe Magyer, James Early, and Ron Gross.

With all of the focus on the chaos of Black Friday in the days leading up to it, the foot traffic was about the same as it was the previous year, up only 3%. Year-over-year sales were actually down slightly. The real story was online traffic. Cyber Monday sales were up a whopping 30% from the previous year. Given online sales are currently only 5% of all U.S. purchases, and two-thirds of the world's population doesn't have an Internet connection yet, this market still has room for rampant growth. The current dominator in this space is, of course, Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN  ) .

Everyone knows Amazon is the big, bad wolf in the retail world right now, but at its sky-high valuation, most investors are worried it's due for a correction. We'll tell you what's driving the company's growth, and how to know when to buy and sell Amazon in our new premium report. Our report also has you covered with a full year of free analyst updates to keep you informed as the company's story changes, so click here now to read more.
