Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN ) was the Number One retailer in terms of customer satisfaction this holiday period, according to a new report issued by market research firm ForeSee. In its annual Holiday E-Retail Satisfaction Index, ForeSee said Amazon tied its own record, scoring 88 on the researcher's 100-point scale.
The retailer has consistently scored well and topped the charts since the Index was launched in 2005. ForeSee was fulsome in its praise of the company, opining that it "is a perfect example" of a firm providing quality service, and that it "is truly setting a new bar for an excellent customer experience."
Rounding out the top four leaders in the Index were clothing specialist LL Bean, with a score of 85, and Liberty Media's (NASDAQ: STRZA ) QVC and Vitacost (NASDAQ: VITC ) , both with 84.
