NEW YORK (AP) -- Exxon (XOM -2.78%) has surpassed Apple (AAPL -0.35%) as world's most valuable company after the tech company's stock falls.

Apple's stock has been falling since an earnings report on Wednesday. It fell another 1.8 percent on Friday to $442.60 for a market capitalization of $415.6 billion. ExxonMobil was mostly unchanged and has a market capitalization of $416.2 billion.
