New home sales may have fallen between November and December 2012, but Fool.com financial analyst Matt Koppenheffer takes a step back to look at the bigger picture, which reveals that many housing-market indicators are actually pointing toward improvement. In addition, with big money from companies like Blackstone (BX) and Silver Bay Realty (NYSE: SBY) chasing returns in the single-family housing market, there may still be opportunity in that corner.
