3-D Printing News Investors Need to Know

3-D printing investors have had some pretty exciting headlines to follow in recent years as a lot of interest builds up behind the potentially disruptive industry. In this video, Motley Fool industrials analyst Blake Bos gives investors some of the most unusual ways that 3-D printing innovators are making science fiction a reality. He tells us that while these are certainly ideas for a long time frame, they may not be as far away as you think.

3D Systems is at the leading edge of a disruptive technological revolution, with the broadest portfolio of 3-D printers in the industry. However, despite years of earnings growth, 3D Systems' share price has risen even faster, and today the company sports a dizzying valuation. In our report, we take a close look at 3D Systems' opportunities, risks, and critical factors for growth. I am invested in ONVO, DDD and SSYS. The comments about ONVO are not well-informed. 1st, Organovo is mispronounced. 2nd, regulatory approval will not be needed for the tissues ONVO will supply to pharmaceuticals for research.

Other statements about share dilution and sharing of research are unsubstantiated. They are merely speculation. Besides, every growing company issues more shares. What's the point?

Sounds like Motley Fool is trying to do a backstroke. Must have made their money on the big sell off.

Sorry about the pronunciation Ron; as far as regulatory approval goes I was referring to the stem cell methods described in the video above. You can check it out over at Rapid Ready if you'd like. They do a awesome job covering additive manufacturing.
