Flight attendants working for US Airways (NYSE: LCC) have ratified a labor contract with their employer. According to their union, the Association of Flight Attendants, the pact includes "double-digit pay increases, industry-leading job protections and work rules, and a seat at the table as full partners in the merger with American Airlines" (NASDAQOTH: AAMRQ).

The newly ratified contract is the third version of a deal originally offered in March 2012. Among other provisions, it mandates four-party talks -- between American and US Airways management, and representatives of the two airlines' flight attendants unions -- to formulate an integration plan fusing the two attendant workforces.
