Constellation Brands (NYSE: STZ ) has signed an agreement to sell some of its wine and liquor in Brazil. Under the terms of the deal with local concern Interfood Importacao, numerous Constellation Brands offerings will be distributed throughout the large South American country. These include the Robert Mondavi family of wines, Inniskillin Ice Wine, and SVEDKA vodka.
In its press release announcing the news, Constellation Brands quoted its Senior Vice President, International Philip Kingston as saying that: "These agreements demonstrate our commitment to make our portfolio more readily available in growth markets such as Brazil, where consumers desire more access to world-famous wines."
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
