Google (GOOGL -1.23%) launched Google Keep today to help Android users remember what they see, hear, and think.

Through Keep, users can jot down notes, organize checklists, and keep track of photos. For users who prefer voice memos, Keep can transcribe them automatically. Google has also integrated a search function to ensure that Keep notes are easily accessible. Users can change note colors, too.

Integrated with Google Drive for safe storage, Keep notes are synced across devices so users always have access to them. In the coming weeks, customers will be able to access, edit, and create new notes on the Web through their Google Drive.

For Google users on devices running Android 4.2+, they can choose to access the Keep widget quickly without unlocking the device. However, customers with Android 4.0 and above can download Google Keep now.
