    The bottom line Blake? People don't drink enough milk to drive a 3D printer that consumes plastic.

    There will always be folks who supply plastic filament. The only question is what their profit margin will be.

    There's an entirely different universe when we discuss metallic powders. If you look into it you'll find patents on metal powders coated with organic acids, and these will be important to the 3D printing industry.
