Bunge (BG -0.12%) has named Todd Bastean, currently CFO of its North American division, to lead the division when Bunge North America CEO Soren Schroder takes over the whole company as CEO of Bunge Limited on June 1.
Bastean is a near-20 year veteran of the agribusiness, and has served as CFO of its North American subsidiary since 2010. He'll be taking charge of Bunge's second-biggest area of operations after Europe, accounting for nearly 29% of all revenues Bunge takes in in a year.
Schroder takes over as CEO from Alberto Weisser, who earlier this year announced his retirement after 15 years leading the company.
