Chipotle (NYSE: CMG  ) has been talking about a potential price hike for a while, but it hasn't touched menu prices in over a year. Meanwhile, competitors like Panera Bread (NASDAQ: PNRA  ) and McDonald's (NYSE: MCD  )  have boosted prices, giving a lift to both sales and profits.     The distinctive brand of Chipotle is a winner today and tomorrow. Eating healthy is no longer a fad, as more people make that decision, guess what? the winner is chipotle. So huge vertical investments that sustains quality and grows customers base will eventually result in higher customers wallet share.
