In my personal opinion, Cadillac was an american made Luxury car, and was of excellent quality until a few years ago. I've owned four and the first three were nice, 1985 Eldorado Biarritz, 1994 Deville, and a 2000 deville. My fourth however, was a total let down. In 2006, I purchaed a new DTS, and the leather in it is definitely not real leather. Its looks like some kind of vinyl. And , it definitely does not ride like a Cadillac should. If they would focus more on being a quality made luxury car, instead of competing with Mercedes and BMW, I'd be proud to own a Cadillac once again !
