Regional gaming companies companies continue to expand their offerings despite a drop in profits. Penn National (NASDAQ: PENN  ) just proposed a $700 million resort in Maryland to go along with billion-dollar projects proposed by Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN  ) and Caesars Entertainment (NASDAQ: CZR  ) in Boston.
