Regional gaming companies companies continue to expand their offerings despite a drop in profits. Penn National (PENN 3.29%) just proposed a $700 million resort in Maryland to go along with billion-dollar projects proposed by Wynn Resorts (WYNN +2.09%) and Caesars Entertainment (CZR +0.00%) in Boston.
