    O, just kidding....I wonder if the applications of this technology are being UNDERestimated as we move forward? As a "disruptive" tech -- is it not in fact likely that we are unable to predict outcomes (potential uses/sales)? Is it not in fact likely that we Underestimate since this has historically been the case for all disruptive techs?

    I think 3D printing is going to open a world to us that isn't even conceivable yet. I'm interested in the medical use of 3D. I have begun seeing it being used in the hospital that I work, just in the last 3 months. Where I work we also implant artificial hearts so I am used to seeing amazing medical treatments. 3D will be able to make heart valves, mesh for skin grafts for burn victims, and I believe, organs one day that function like the ones we were born with. And this is just the tip of the ice burg. IMO.

    Here is a recent article on how 3D saved a childs life. This just happened and the child is doing great! Ask the childs parents if 3D is undervalued and my guess is they would say Yes! And this is only the beginning..
