Alternative Jet Fuels Taking Off

At a meeting of international airlines in Cape Town earlier this week, the industry agreed to cut its carbon emissions by 2020 in an effort to avoid a global patchwork quilt of carbon taxes. The specific numbers behind the agreement will be hammered out at another meeting in September, but this move really brings home how significant it is for airlines to start cutting carbon.
