According to a recent plan submitted to the city of Cupertino, Apple (AAPL 0.30%) is planning a massive expansion over the next three years. Already the city's largest taxpayer, the company is apparently expecting to grow its employee base by 7,400 employees in an effort to fill the new 3.4 million square foot facility that is in the works. The move indicates CEO Tim Cook feels confident and should give shareholders something to be excited about.
