2 Very Real Threats to Obamacare

There's an article out by Joshua Green in Bloomberg Businessweek describing how Twitter is out to destroy Obamacare. It highlights how Twitter sentiment is wildly against the law, but that the enthusiasm of the Affordable Care Act's opponents may not manifest itself in the real world in a way that jeopardizes its implementation.

However, that doesn't mean Obamacare is out of the woods. There are very real threats that could undermine the law's chances of success. One is participation of young people and the choice to opt out of insurance exchanges, while another focuses on data security.

In this video, health-care analyst David Williamson discusses how these threats could manifest and affect the law, as well as how they are affecting the business decisions of managed-care companies.

This Obamacare will be done by computers which will prevent doctors and hospitals from cheating ....as much.

If you don't trust computers then get your money out of banks.

Another writeup by someone who is against Obamacare. At least with Obamacare, we will have sinsurance and if no drastic changes are made, only the rich will be able to afford it.

Obamacare is law and the only thing that will end it will be a coup by the Tea Party who is looking to take over the US and the government. Tea Party chairwomen Ginni Thomas has given talking points to members on vacation. Republicans continue to focus on attacking Obama while the lunatic Koch Bros. Tea Party are just filling Congress/Senate seats with their paid candidates. Most remember President Nixon formed the Universal Health Care Plan as Mitt Romney used it in Mass. and looked to bring it to law as President in the 2008 campaign speech. But because Obama made it law it is now attacked. At lease President Bush did well forming the Universal Health Care Plan in Africa and the US aid helped.

Republican-held State legislatures in Southern states unbelievably have already decided that their poorest citizens can't have any health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. With the leeway given by the conservative Supreme Court for states to opt out of Medicaid expansion, and the tea party callously acting on it in 21 states; those earning under the poverty level will get nothing: no Medicaid, and, per the ACA, they earn too little(!) to qualify for subsidies on the exchanges. Presumably, the life of anyone that poor would be of no value to a far-right Republican, since he would never vote for him. Take note, anyone with warm blood still running in your veins: throw these monsters out of your state houses and put human beings in their places

Obamacare was never about health care it was and is about control. Not to mention that it is based completely on lies, if you like your insurance you can keep it, turns out that's going to be a lie, premiums will go down 2500.00 dollars a year, another lie, premiums are sky rocketing, Congress will have to have Obamacare as well as ordinary citizens, a lie Obama just exempted Congress, because it's too expensive for them, as well as all his other cronies he has exempted, it won't cost over 800 billion dollars, another lie, it;s 1.3 trillion and counting, absolutely no death panels, more lies, they are there. The same IRS that abused people's civil rights will now control your health care. The people who wrote this nightmare law now refer to it as a train wreck. Everything that opponents warned about is coming true. The majority of didn't want this law when it passed, and even more don't want it now. But Obama loves to govern against the will of the people

I live in Georgia and our Republican governor is not getting involved with Obama care. So that leaves me going to a company already operating here, or the national exchange.

Right now a high deductible policy for me is $200 a month, and they said rates will double. I believe in order for rates to double, every single person now signing up for insurance would have to have major preexisting conditions. But that's not going to happen because most of them will still be priced out of the market even on the national exchange.

I think overall even if rates here do go up substantially next year, if the insurance companies over estimated actual cost, the 80/20 mandate will give us refunds and lower rates in 2015.

Either way, I know in my area hospitals and doctor offices started expanding 2 years ago, and medical schools are full.
