At long last, Google (GOOG 0.34%) subsidiary Motorola has unveiled the Moto X, a smartphone that's been rumored for over a year. Motorola is bucking the trend among most rival OEMs of waging a spec war -- the Moto X's spec sheet is as mid-range as it gets. Instead, the company is focusing on the user experience, which is precisely what rival Apple (AAPL 1.46%) has always done.
