Samsung Wants to Steal Apple's Thunder Next Month

Perhaps no tech storyline has received more coverage since word leaked that Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL  ) was planning to launch the latest update to its ultra-popular iPhone line of smartphones on Sept. 10. But Apple isn't the only player in the smart-device space with big plans for next month. In this video, tech and telecom analyst Andrew Tonner discusses Samsung's bold move and it's implications for the tech space as a whole.

WIll major developments like Samsung's next great product crush Apple? Makes sense - Samdung stole everything else, why not Apple's thunder, too?

Too bad they won't steal any thunder since they're releasing their debut first. If anything, apple's releases will overshadow a likely somewhat lackluster release from Samsung. If Samsung was releasing their new note and watch in mid/late sept AFTER sept 10th, it'd be a diff story to me. But instead, they're coming out a week early and it's not going to do the trick since apple will get the last word and last debut. And be able to respond to samsungs debut if need be as well. Apple will win the September debut battle i expect. And also apple will be able to adjust their own iwatch to contain any features samsungs might and then some with Samsung trying to be first to the party there as well. My two cents anyway.

Apple's junk is only purchased by brainwashed fanbois (people that know nothing about technology) and people that have money to waste. That's why the Kardashian's own an iphone. I don't want to be associated with them and people that wait in line to purchase electronics, regardless of weather conditions, no toilets and crappy food. I buy electronics when I can get a deal and don't sacrifice on performance <--- definition of technology (price performance). Something a fanboi and a Kardashian will never know the meaning of.
