Why GM's Going Back to the Super Bowl

Last year, General Motors (NYSE: GM  ) said that it would pass on buying ad time during the Super Bowl, saying that it couldn't "justify" the expense. But last week, GM confirmed that it had changed course, and was planning to run ads for its Chevrolet brand during this season's Super Bowl XLVIII.

What's the deal? As Fool contributor John Rosevear explains in this video, the deal is that this year GM has an important story to tell -- and despite the expense, Super Bowl ads are a good way to tell it.
