In this video, Motley Fool analysts John Reeves and Dave Meier take a look at the smartphone market today, and BlackBerry's (BB 1.80%) chances of survival. Dave highlights the explosive rate of growth in the smartphone market and, by comparison, BlackBerry's sales are down 40% from a year ago. He also notes that BlackBerry's Q10 had some excitement behind it for the company, but some vendors have said there is "virtually no demand" for the product. Dave tells investors that, with BlackBerry's weak ecosystem, and such strong offerings coming from Apple (AAPL -0.35%) and Google (GOOGL 10.22%), he just doesn't see how BlackBerry can stick around.
