    Technical? Nope. I own eight stocks for their dividends (example: AT&T).

    These are the numbers that are important; Dividend %, number of quarters that the stock has paid a reliable dividend (steady or higher), Graham number, analyst's prediction for next year earnings (positive number), and payout ratio <100%.

    So for AT&T the dividend is 6.2%, 100 quarters, Graham +8%, analysts +7%, payout 71% (at the price I paid).
