    No love for MMP? I believe it outperforms all but SXL on most time horizons and has impressive distribution growth as well.

    MMP has absolutely been a champion recently, and you are correct about its total return. It did hold its distribution flat for five straight quarters starting at Q4 2008, though. Certainly not an outright criticism, but that's why it didn't make my top three.
