Regulated electric utility OGE Energy (OGE 1.18%) announced today its fourth-quarter dividend of $0.20875 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after raising the payout 6% from a split-adjusted rate of $0.19625 per share. The utility split its shares 2-for-1 on July 2.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on October 30 to holders of record at the close of business on October 10. The regular dividend payment equates to approximately $0.84-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.3% based on the closing price today of OGE Energy's stock.
