Motor Money: In New York for the Cadillac Escalade Unveiling

Motley Fool analysts Rex Moore and John Rosevear took their Motor Money show on the road last night. The dynamic duo was in New York City for the unveiling of the all-new, redesigned-from-the-ground-up 2015 Cadillac Escalade.

What does it mean for General Motors (NYSE: GM  ) and its investors? Strap yourselves in for a special edition of Motor Money!

But who's motoring in China?
There's good reason to believe that the most successful investors over the next few decades will be those with exposure to China's massive and growing population of domestic consumers. And there are few things that these consumers are likely to purchase with more enthusiasm than cars and trucks. In this brand-new free report, our analysts get out in front of this trend by identifying two automakers that are poised to surge along with China's middle class. If you want to be among the smart investors who get rich from this growing trend, then you'd be well advised to instantly download our free report on the topic by clicking here now.

I guess it has no engine or the engine that is does have ain't worth talk'n about.

If GM wants to sell this vehicle in Europe it better have the option of a diesel.

@rocketman67: I guess it didn't make the final cut, sorry about that. Here's the scoop: The only drivetrain offered at the introduction will be the 6.2L V8, 420 hp/460 lb-ft, with the 6L80 6-speed automatic.

They gave some big hints that they're considering a diesel, but it's not yet official and I don't know which engine is likely to get the nod.

    Thanks for stopping by.

It may have LED lighting and perforated leather, but it's still a S*** Ugly Vehicle. Other makers have managed to take the curse of SUVs (except for Porsche with the hideous Cayenne), but GM still has a monstrosity with no redeeming qualities. With genuinely beautiful models in the the stable, I don't see much hope for this ugly stepsister, except for those who worship the conspicuous consumption of petroleum.
