How BMW's Electric Car Helps Tesla

BMW is saying that demand for its new i3 electric car is exceeding expectations -- and now it's considering a boost in production. OMG, this does nothing for Tesla...BMW does a compliance car and ...ugh. You know, the BMW active e and mini e were some great places to start, but this compliance fake EV, PHEV (they want to "upgrade" you to the "range extender" which is an all-out ICE engine, like the Volt, this is not an all-electric car from the ground up like the Tesla Model S. Period.).

Truth is, if you buy this as an all-electric vehicle, there is an empty hole for an ICE engine in there.

BMW, you have done us with GM, ef'n going down, not up. WTF?

sorry, but, I am pissed. I have been waiting 30+ years for electric (ALL-ELECTRIC FROM THE GROUND UP) cars to be MAINSTREAM...which should have happened by now. :P
