Time to Buy Apple?

The following video is from Tuesday's Investor Beat, in which host Chris Hill and Motley Fool analysts David Hanson and Michael Olsen dissect the hardest-hitting investing stories of the day.

Even though Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL  ) posted fourth-quarter numbers that beat on earnings and revenue with a profit of $7.5 billion, Mr. Market wasn't impressed, and the stock sold off slightly. Does this represent a great time to buy this consumer-tech giant, or is Apple's future less bright than it used to seem? In the lead story on today's Investor Beat, our analysts discuss the future of Apple.

I can't believe the minds on this video. First I was surprised that Quasimodo had relatives. Second one of these gentleman said that they revised the margins due to including the costs for the software they are going to give away for free. He argued that it is a cost so these are the true margins. In that he is correct. It is his inability to dig deeper and reason that makes me realize darwin was right.

But Amzn has no margins. They have no profit. Yet the stock soars on added revenue. Apple is not giving anything away. They are giving LITE versions of the software away for free. The kind you download but if you want to get a better version you pay extra for.

As people become familiar with their suite of software and more people are using it, they will make more money for people upgrading. People upgrading + benefits from more people knowing the program (everyone who buys a Mac or iPad) + goodwill and a cheaper cost to the buyer with free software is more than the amount of money they are writing off.

These three knuckleheads think they know more than the minds at Apple. What a joke. These three look like the herd left them to die.
