Time Warner (TWX) may have just brought the Batman into the TV world of Arrow, Fool contributor Tim Beyers says in the following video.

How so? Ra's al Ghul. The famed Batman villain created by writer Dennis O'Neil and artist Neal Adams and portrayed by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises is briefly mentioned in season 2's third episode, "Broken Dolls." An agent of Ra's confronts an as-yet-unnamed vigilante who looks suspiciously like the Black Canary from the comics. In Arrow, she's also connected to Ra's yet refuses to return to his organization, killing the man sent to bring her back.

The great news here for fans and investors, Tim says, is that Arrow is actively teasing connections between various DC superheroes -- in this particular case, Batman and "the Arrow," two characters that, in the comics, appear together in the Justice League. Mix in a planned introduction of the Flash later this season (another Justice Leaguer) and it's starting to look like Arrow will be the centerpiece for launching DC's equivalent of Marvel's The Avengers, a full-scale superhero team-up film.
