A 350 MW capacity expansion is just part of a plan to expand SunPower's reach in the future.
SunPower (SPWR -8.18%) is sold out of panels through the end of 2014, and it's rushing to expand capacity. The company recently announced a 350 MW capacity expansion, which along with efficiency improvements will increase capacity from 1.1 GW now to 1.8 GW in 2016.
