Ford (F 0.69%) this week unveiled the all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC, a compact luxury SUV that it hopes will take the fight to hot sellers such as BMW's (BAMXF 3.93%) X3 and Honda's (HMC -2.21%) Acura RDX.

The MKC is set to arrive at Lincoln dealers next spring. It's being presented as an all-new product, entirely distinct from its mechanical sibling, the Ford Escape. But is it? Compare the two and see what you think.
