After a slow start to season 2, Arrow is gathering momentum for Time Warner (TWX) and its CW network, Fool contributor Tim Beyers says in the following video.

Before this week's episode (i.e., "State vs. Queen"), Arrow had increased its viewership for three consecutive weeks, with the prior installment (i.e., "Keep Your Enemies Closer") setting a new high with 3.09 million viewers. Signs suggest that the show is attracting a loyal and increasingly engaged fan base, which gives Warner and production subsidiary DC Entertainment breathing room to experiment.

And they have, Tim says. "Enemies" puts the assassin Deadshot in the limelight while introducing the mysterious government agent Amanda Waller. "State," meanwhile, brings back two old foes. It's a treat for fans that should pay off in the form of higher ratings and more interest in the wider DC Cinematic Universe, Tim says.

Now it's your turn to weigh in. Have you been watching Arrow this season? Are you more or less convinced that DC properties will be a catalyst for Time Warner stock after having seen the show? Please watch the video to get Tim's full take and then leave a comment to let us know what you think.
