North Dakota's Director of the Department of Mineral Resources estimates that 90% of all crude oil produced in North Dakota's Bakken Shale next year will grab a ticket to ride. Given that 60% of the region's crude hit the rails this year, and the Bakken's top producer, Continental Resources (CLR), has already confirmed it is shipping 100% of its crude via rail, this prediction may very well become a reality in 2014.

In this video, Fool.com contributor Aimee Duffy talks to Tyler Crowe about why this is happening, and whether companies like Phillips 66 (PSX -0.66%), PBF Energy (PBF -0.37%), or Enbridge Energy Partners (EEP) stand to win or lose.
