If you thought Samsung's (NASDAQOTH: SSNLF) curved Galaxy Round smartphone was cool, you're gonna love this.

According to South Korean news site ETNews, Samsung used CES 2014 to secretly showcase a new smartphone prototype to VIP attendees. The kicker? The new device apparently features a foldable touch-sensitive OLED display.

This naturally begs the question: Should the folks at Apple (AAPL 0.52%) be terrified of Samsung's incredible new OLED technology?

Not necessarily, says the Fool's Steve Symington in the following video. In fact, while Samsung still says its foldable displays won't be commercially ready until 2015, Apple may be working on some of its own innovative OLED tech as we speak.
